There is a saying that when the student is ready the teacher appears.
At WATERTODAY we have discovered that when the teacher is ready the students appear.
From winners of global competitions, to designers of spacecraft, inventors of bioplastics, researchers in medical breakthroughs and champions of social justice and reform in collaborative two-eyed seeing between traditional and western knowledges, the youth of Canada are poised to lead in new directions that our country and the world await as we witness history unfold in these unprecedented times.
The Teachers’ Hub was designed to be a resource for teachers and homeschooling parents.
The greatest resource is the stories of our students. This is the greatness and the promise of our nation. It is also the encouragement to all students, teachers and parents to have a dream and pursue it.
The Scholarship Challenge was created to recognize and reward that promise. This year’s Challenge – “Solving the Bottled Water Crisis” is looking for solutions to the extraction of valuable water resources by bottled water companies and the plastic pollution crisis.
Teachers are also invited to share their ideas. We are also welcoming ideas from parents who are homeschooling.
Learning and Teaching – they become one and the same when we share.
