HOWE SOUND (Lions Bay) – May 21 Beach Action Value (BAV) posted at Kevin Grove Beach due to higher than expected sample results but still within Ministry guidelines.
MANNION BAY (Bowen Island) – May 21 Beach Action Value (BAV) posted at Mothers Beach due to higher than expected sample results but still within Ministry guidelines.

TROUT LAKE (Vancouver) – “Not Suitable for Swimming“ Advisory is posted at Trout Lake Beach due to high counts of E.coli. Samples taken May 21 from the West and East sides of the lake read 860 E. coli/100 ml and the second 6020 E. coli/100 ml. The Advisory will remain in place until follow up sampling confirms that the water quality is within guideline values.
DRINKING WATER ADVISORIES
HORSEFLY (Cornerhouse Place Water System) – WQA issued May 24 due to chemical and physical water quality parameters in excess of acceptable concentrations.
PEACHLAND CREEK Water Supply System - BWA issued May 27 due to depressurization of the trunk main in order to make repairs to the main line.

DOAKTOWN – BWO issued May 25 due to watermain break and subsequent loss of pressure in water distribution system.

HALFWAY LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK – DNC Order issued due to adverse water chemistry for primary disinfection. The order has since been RESCINDED following corrective action, and laboratory results of water samples collected reported as being satisfactory.
