FALHER – BWO Nov 29 issued to Smoky River Regional Water Management Commission Drinking Water Supply due to high turbidity levels exceeding 0.3 NTU.

This Advisory affects the following communities: Falher, Girouxville, Guy, Donnelly, Jean Cote, Smoky River Water Co-op Station, the Smoky River Water Co-op fill station, & any locations supplied by the above Water System.

ALBERTASurface Water – Dec 2 Recent weather has cooled lake and reservoir water temperatures to such an extent that Cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) is no longer a health concern. Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the Water Quality Advisories including 22 for water bodies in North Zone, 6 water bodies in Edmonton Zone, 6 water bodies in Central Zone, and 3 water bodies in Calgary Zone.

FOOTHILLS COUNTY (Delicious Bombs and Sweet Treats) – BWO was in effect for one year, issued December 18, 2023 for Total Coliform Bacteria.

SCEPTRE Community Water System – PDWA issued Dec 4 due to localized depressurization resulting from a line break/subsequent repair.

SASKATOON Municipal WS – 6 PDWAs were issued for Valve Replacements (3), Valving Issue (1), Water Connection Replacement (1) and Water Connection Repair (1).

SaskWater (Buffalo Pound Potable Water Supply System) – PDWA issued Dec 4 due to Capital Upgrades. Service will be interrupted followed by a boil water advisory affecting Customers on the North and West pipelines; Villages of Marquis, Tuxford, Bethune, Disley and the Qu’Appelle Valley Water Users are exempt from this PDWA advisory due to their offline storage and re-chlorination capabilities.

ST. WALBURG Community Water System – PDWA issued Dec 2 due to localized depressurization resulting from curb stop repairs.

WOOD RIVER Utility Board Gravelbourg NW Pipeline - PDWA issued Dec 4 due to Capital Upgrades at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant. This system receives water via the West Pipeline.
