PRINCE RUPERT Municipal WS – Dec 5 The City has extended its BWN through the holiday season. This decision follows ongoing efforts to address issues with their failing Water Supply System, including the integration of a new water main and concerns about maintaining water quality during construction. This Advisory was originally issued November 25th due to generator failure at the City’s remote water supply. The City has relied on this generator for the past 2 months due to a failure in the BC Hydro line that services the water supply’s chlorination station.

CORTES ISLAND (Linnaea Farm) – BWN has been in effect for 9 years. The advisory was issued August 10, 2015 due to significant deterioration in source water quality and the presence of E.Coli. in drinking water supply.
