MÉTABETCHOUAN réseau municipal – (DNC) L'avis de consommation d'eau émis le 23 janvier pour les populations vulnérables en raison de la contamination par les nitrites et les nitrates reste en vigueur. À cette époque, les analyses indiquaient un taux de 13 milligrammes de nitrites et de nitrates par litre d'eau. Ce taux est depuis revenu à la normale, où les concentrations de nitrates et de nitrites fluctuent généralement entre 4 et 6 milligrammes. Cependant, la municipalité doit trouver la source de la contamination avant que l'avis ne soit levé.

Water consumption advisory issued January 23 for vulnerable populations due to nitrite and nitrate contamination remains in effect. At that time, tests showed a level of 13 milligrams of nitrite and nitrate per liter of water. The level has since dropped back to normal; where nitrate and nitrite levels generally fluctuate between 4 and 6 milligrams, however the municipality must find the source of the contamination before the advisory is lifted.
