MILLET Water System – BWA LIFTED

BRITISH COLUMBIA

GRINDROD Water Utility – Update & Reminder: May 23 crews were able to bypass the river intake with a portable pump and in addition to a potable water hauler, bring the reservoir up to approximately 75% overnight. May 26 BC Hydro is completing planned work which will cause a shutdown of the plant for approx 8 hours. Construction will start in June on a generator for the water treatment plant. The water Utility remains on a precautionary BWN until further notice.

NORTH SALT SPRING Waterworks District – BWA issued May 25 due to an emergency shut-down to repair an equipment failure affecting Perdue, Dean and Kilner Roads.

MANITOBA

MORDEN – Localized Flooding: The City is experiencing an unprecedented volume of rainfall resulting in localized flooding. Residents are urged to minimize water usage or, if possible, to temporarily cease water use entirely until further notice. This measure is critical to reducing the strain on our sewer infrastructure. May 24 The City Posted Weather Advisory and Preparedness Information.

RM of NORTH NORFOLK (Yellowhead Regional Water Co-op Public Water System) – BWA issued May 25 due to pressure loss in a portion of this Water System resulting from a main break in Portage Reservoir, affecting the following sytems: Yellowhead Regional Water Co-op, Municipality of North Norfolk, Municipality of Westlake (Gladstone), Municipality of Glenella (Lansdowne).

WELLMAN LAKE United Church Camp – BWA issued May 25, short-term.

WINKLER – Localized Flooding: May 24 Due to the very heavy rainfall, the City’s pumpstations are overwhelmed, residents are urged to discontinue water use until Saturday morning to prevent the risk of sewer back up and further flooding issues.
