A contractor was working on a private sewer lateral (the pipe connecting a home to the city sewer) when the excavator accidentally struck the waterline by mistake. Potable drinking water was provided to affected Residents on Woodworth Drive East and instructed not to consume tap water until the advisory is lifted.

SIMCOE  - BWA issued May 23 following a temporary disruption of water service due to issues that have arisen during the ongoing Talbot Street reconstruction project. This disruption will affect localized residents in the surrounding area.
