There were 17 new advisories issued since yesterday: 1 in NU, 2 in SK, 2 in QC, 2 in MB, 5 in BC, 1 in AB, 2 in ON, 2 in NL.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a Do Not Consume Advisory has been issued in Iqaluit due to the possibility that the drinking water supply has been contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons. The Public Health
Department reported that previous tests had shown the water was safe to drink however the most recent test at the water treatment plant showed there was a possibility of contamination. Investigations
are ongoing.
A previously issued BWA was rescinded in Whale Cove.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Norris Point-Neddy Harbour Pond due to maintenance or repairs. A BWA was issued to Hearts Delight-Islington-Long Pond due to inadequately
treated water having been introduced into the system due to fire flows, flushing operations, interconnections, minor power outage or other pressure loss.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a WQA was issued to the Star Place-Dietrich Water System due to repairs and maintenance, effective Oct 14. A BWN was issued to Mount Washington Water System due to
routine maintenance. First Nation BWNs were issued (in Sept) to Canim Lake-Main CWS, while two were issued to Cayoose Creek (IR1 CWS and IR2 CWS).
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, HKPR District Health issued a Boil Order to Kawartha Slices (Woodville) reason not stated. A BWA was issued by Grey Bruce District Health to Maple Grove Village (Southgate)
reason not stated.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued to a number of addresses in Trois-Rivières due to water interruption for an aqueduct break. In Saint-Jérôme, a previously
issued BWA was lifted while another was issued to a portion of one street due to work on the aqueduct. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Sainte-Adèle, Coteaux-du-Lac, Ville Marie.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a localized PDWA was issued in the Town of Ituna due to planned maintenance. A partial PDWA was issued in Kerrobert due to watermain replacement.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Camperville Public Water System and a portion of Gimli Public Water System; advisory causes were not stated while both are categorized as short term.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a WQA was issued by Alberta Health Services to a section of Rocky Mountain House due to issues with the area water system.
