There were 21 new advisories issued since Friday: 7 in SK, 6 in QC, 1 in ON, 3 in BC, 3 in MB, 1 in NB.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Somerset Public Water System, Norway House PWS, and a portion of North Norfolk PWS; advisory causes were not stated, while all three were categorized
as short term.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, in Iqaluit, work to remove remaining hydrocarbons from the water treatment system, specifically in the treated reservoir storage tanks is ongoing. According to the
municipality, "The contamination is presenting as hydrophobic and tends to remain on the surface which means it can be removed directly from the tanks using a vacuum system, preventing
the contamination from entering the distribution system. The first round of flushing the water pipes, has been completed. There will be additional flushing once the work at the treated
reservoir is complete to remove hydrocarbons from the system." The Do Not Consume Advisory remains in effect.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Interior Health issued BWNs to Sundance Guest Ranch due to insufficient treatment or disinfection residual, Aurora Westwold Facility due to unacceptable water quality
results, Green Acres Trailer Park due to Unacceptable water quality results.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a Boil Order was issued to a portion of the town of Woodstock due to a watermain break and subsequent loss of pressure .
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, 2 preventive BWAs were issued in Lévis, one in connection with a major works project, while the other was issued due to a sewer blockage. Partial BWAs were
issued in Sainte-Adèle, Laval, and Pohénégamook. A Provincial Government-issued BWA is in effect for Association coop. Aqueduc de Ste-Angélique (Saint-Basile). Previously
issued BWAs were lifted in Verdun, Dolbeau-Mistassini and Baie-Comeau.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Beechy due to depressurization, Cole Bay due to a power outage causing depressurization, Village of Muenster due to watermain repair.
The City of Prince Albert issued 4 DWAs, two of which were due to watermain breaks, while the other two were due to valve repairs.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a Boil Order was issued by HKPR District Health to Nestle Inn RV Resort (Dunsford), reason not stated.
