Saskatchewan Advisory Map

In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Kelliher due to inadequate disinfectant residual, and to an isolated area of Maidstone due to line repair. A DWA was issued to one block in Prince Albert due to a water main break.

Yukon Advisory Map

In Yukon, a precautionary BWA was issued in late December for Carmacks and Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation who use private wells. The wells may have been be impacted by raw sewage entering the Yukon River from the Carmacks lift station outfall due to an ongoing malfunction.

British Columbia Advisory Map

In British Columbia, Interior Health issued a BWN to Gladwin Mobile Home Park due to untreated drinking water at risk of containing pathogens, and a WQA to East shore Cottages due to unacceptable water quality results, microbiological.

Ontario Advisory Map

In Ontario, According to news reports there appears to be confusion regarding the lifting of a BWA in Gravenhurst at Beaver Ridge Estates. The advisory was issued back on Oct 12 due to severe pumphouse damage caused by a fire. According to reports, on Dec 23rd Beaver Ridge officials stated that the advisory had been lifted by Simcoe Muskoka DHU. However an email from the health unit on Dec 30 stated that the advisory was still in effect as of that date. Subsequently there was a series of comments from both Beaver Ridge Estates and Simcoe Muskoka DHU regarding who dropped the ball on this matter however neither party took responsibility. The BWA was officially rescinded by Simcoe-Muskoka Jan 3rd, at which time the health unit stated they would "look into the matter." It is fortunate that there were no serious repercussions as a result of the misinformation.

Previously issued BWAs remain in effect in the following provincial parks: Algonquin, Biscotasi Lake, Fushimi Lake, Kawartha Highlands, MacLeod, Misery Bay, Missinaibi, Pakwash, Rene Brunelle, Shoals, Sioux Narrows, Wakami.

Québec Advisory Map

In Québec, in Cacouna a preventive BWA is in effect due to pressure loss in the supply system. A localized BWA was issued in Saint-Lambert, reason not stated.

Manitoba Advisory Map

In Manitoba, a WQA was issued to Somerset PWS, reason not stated, short term. A First Nation BWA was issued to Gods Lake-Austin Nazzie Pumphouse PWS, short term.

Alberta Advisory Map

In Alberta, a First Nation BWA was issued to Kehewin PWS; a previously issued DNU to Kehewin (issued in early November) remains in effect.
