There were 21 new advisories issued since yesterday: 2 in NU, 6 in QC, 5 in SK, 2 in ON, 3 in MB, 1 in BC, 1 in NS, 1 in AB.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a BWA was issued to all residents of Kimmirut due to detection of Coliform bacteria in the water. A precautionary BWA was issued to a number of addresses in Iqaluit due to public works.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Paint Lake Provincial Park, PWS, and to 59 ER Restaurant, SPWS; advisory causes were not stated and both are categorized as short term. A First Nation BWA was issued
to Pinaymootang-Daycare Ctre SPWS, short term.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a PDWA was issued to a portion of Dalmeny due to treatment or distribution system equipment failure or damage. Two First Nation BWAs were issued to Cumberland House, one to
Pemmican Portage PWS, and the other to Reserve Centre PWS. Two First Nation BWAs were issued to Ministikwan No 161 PWS and No 161A Mudie Lake PWS.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a BWA was issued to customers of the Wallaceburg Distribution System on the Chatham-Kent water supply due to a water main break. A First Nation BWA was issued to Wawakapewin-Long Dog
PWS, short term.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a BWA was issued to McDonalds Restaurant in Barrington Passage; a similar advisory was issued and lifted earlier this past week but as advisory causes are not provided on the provincial
web site, it is unknown whether the new advisory is a re-issue of the original or has been issued due to an unrelated cause.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Saint-Sauveur a preventive BWA was issued to the entire territory, both residential and commercial (with exception for those served by the Domain St-Sauveur Well) due to
maintenance work on the municipal aqueduct. In Fermont one street is under a BWA due to an aqueduct break. In Laval a BWA was issued to a portion of one street, reason not stated. A BWA was issued
to one street in Lévis due to an area construction project. In Saint-Constant a localized BWA was issued due to an aqueduct break. A BWA was issued in the Rivière-des-Prairies-Pointe aux
Trembles borough.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a First Nation BWA was issued to Blood-Standoff PWS, short term.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a precautionary WQA was issued by Regional District Central Okanagan to a portion of one street on the Falcon Ridge Water System due to connection services.
