There were 24 new advisories issued since yesterday: 6 in ON, 4 in BC, 4 in MB, 7 in QC, 2 in SK, 1 in NS.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a precautionary BWA was issued to several locations in Elliot Lake due to area construction or repair work. Ontario Clean Water Agency issued a precautionary BWA to Moose Cree
First Nation as physical issues at the plant have compromised disinfection. Simcoe-Muskoka DH issued Cyanobacteria Advisories (blue-green algae) for Smiths Bay (Orillia) and Muldew Lake (Gravenhurst).
Porcupine DH issued BWAs to Shillington Community Hall and to Moose Factory Island.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Northern Health issued BWNs to North River Midstream Energy Plant Control Room due to unsatisfactory water sample results, and to Rio Tinto Kitimat due to valve failure with
a temporary loss of pressure. Interior Health issued BWNs to Carmel Cove Beach Lodges due to insufficient treatment or disinfection residual, and to Copper Cove Properties due to unacceptable water
quality results (microbiological).
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, public water system BWAs were issued to RM Dufferin, and to one street in Rossburn. Semi-public system BWAs were issued to Mumzz Kitchen and to Grand Marais Heritage Ctre.
All four are categorized as short term, while advisory causes were not stated.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a BWA was issued to Mountainview Estates (HRM County), reason not stated.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued to portions of two streets in Kirkland, reason not stated. Three localized BWAs were issued in Lévis, all due to aqueduct breaks.
In Saint-Jérôme a preventive BWA was issued to one street, reason not stated. In Laval a BWA was issued to a portion of one boulevard, reason not stated. A preventive BWA was issued
to several streets in Trois-Rivières due to work on the aqueduct.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Flaxcombe due to depressurization, and to a portion of Rocanville due to valve repair.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, previously issued BWAs were rescinded in both Iqaluit and Sanirajak.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a number of previously issued BWAs were rescinded including Pools Cove, Ferryland, Cox's Cove, Isle au Morts, Buchans Junction, Blaketown.
