There were 17 new advisories issued since Friday: 3 in MB, 7 in QC, 2 in SK, 1 in NB, 4 in ON.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a BWA was issued by Simcoe Muskoka District Health for the Town of Gravenhurst. A low fluoride monitoring alarm problem was detected at the Gravenhurst Water Treatment Plant;
the problem was resolved but officials then detected a fluoride container improperly labelled and subsequently decided to issue the advisory as a precautionary measure pending investigation.
Eastern Ontario Health issued a BWA to Église Baptiste Évangelique de l'est de l'Ontario (Casselman) reason not stated. HKPR District Health issued a Boil Order to Lakeview Bar
and Grill, (Bewdley) reason not stated. A First Nation BWA was issued to Naotkamegwanning-Whitefish Bay PWS. A previously issued BWA was lifted in Central Manitoulin.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, semi-public water system BWAs were issued to Rivercrest Early Learning Child Care (West Saint Paul), Ste G's General Store (Sainte-Genevieve), and The Open Kitchen (Warren);
all three are categorized as short term.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued to a portion of one street in Mirabel due to an aqueduct break. A partial BWA was issued in Val-Morin due to an aqueduct break.
A partial BWA was issued in Laval, reason not stated. Two preventive BWAs were issued in Lévis, one due to an aqueduct break and the other related to a major works project in the area.
In Lavaltrie, 2 localized BWAs were issued due to aqueduct upgrades. Previously issued BWAs were rescinded in Saint-Lambert, Boucherville, Cookshire-Eaton, Saint-Jacques, Saint-Lazare,
Saint-Basile, as well as in the West Island sector of Montréal.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a Boil Order was issued to Birchwood Estates (Hanwell) due to pump malfunction and a subsequent loss of system pressure.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the Village of Engelfield due to water main failure and depressurization, and to a portion of Wakaw due to planned maintenance.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, The Province is advising residents that drinking water wells in flooded areas of B.C. may be at risk of contamination. Residents getting their water from a community
supply system can depend on the supplier to provide the information regarding the water's safety. Those who own private wells are responsible for assessment of their wells and for taking the
required measures to ensure the water is safe.
