There were 10 new advisories issued since yesterday : 5 in QC, 3 in SK, 1 in BC, 1 in NL.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to 2 blocks in Ponteix due to planned maintenance. A DNC Advisory was issued to one block in Saskatoon due to contamination having been caused by construction,
repair or operations. The City of Prince Albert issued a DWA to one block due to water main repair.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA was issued to one street in Coaticook due to an aqueduct break. A BWA was issued to the Village of La Croche due to a leak detected along the aqueduct network.
One street in Chicoutimi is under a BWA, reason not stated. A BWA was issued in the Saint-Janvier sector of Mirabel due to a major water leak. A BWA was issued in the Montréal borough of Southwest.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to a part of the Town of Stephenville due to maintenance or repair.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Greater Vernon Water issued a precautionary WQA to the Duteau Water Supply due to emergency repairs.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, A BWA was lifted in Elliot Lake. First Nation BWAs were lifted for Munsee-Delaware and Naicatchewenin.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, in Iqaluit residents are again reporting the smell of fuel in their drinking water. In response, the City of Iqaluit has stated that the water is testing within national standards and
no drinking water advisory has been issued. This same problem arose last fall, however at that time a DNC Advisory was issued while steps were taken to resolve the problem.
