There were 12 new advisories issued since yesterday : 1 in NU, 1 in NL, 7 in QC, 1 in SK, 2 in BC.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a precautionary BWA was issued to the City of Iqaluit as the water treatment plant has been bypassed due to recent contamination issues and residents have once again been
reporting fuel odour in the drinking water.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, 2 preventive, localized BWAs were issued in Lévis, both due to aqueduct breaks; both advisories will be in effect tomorrow (Jan 21). In Magog, a BWA was issued to
several streets due to a network break. A localized BWA was issued in Laval, reason not stated. A BWA was issued to several addresses in Saint-Sauveur due to water interruption. In Coteau-du-Lac
a preventive BWA was issued to two streets due to an aqueduct break. A preventive BWA was issued to one street in Saint-Jérôme, reason not stated.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a WQA was issued by Interior Health to Greater Vernon Water Utility due to distribution system integrity failure with water treatment equipment failure. IH issued a
BWN to PRT Skimikin Nursery due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued in Parkers Cove due to water entering the system and after a 20 minute contact time not having the minimum free chlorine residual .
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a PDWA was issued to a portion of Loon Lake due to planned maintenance.
