There were 13 new advisories issued since Friday: 7 in QC, 2 in BC, 2 in MB, 1 in NS, 1 in SK.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, As reported in the Nunavut news, the year 2021 has seen a 5 year high for drinking water advisories in Nunavut communities. This figure does not include advisories
issued in Iqaluit as the City issues its advisories separately. The article states: "As of Friday, about a month before the year end, 14 water advisories have been issued in seven
communities outside of the capital city this year, more than tripling the four advisories issued in 2017. Over the last 5 years, advisories have been issued mainly due to high turbidity,
elevated coliform levels and other infrastructure-related reasons."
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Fraser Health issued a BWN to Murray Creek Ranch (Langley) due to unacceptable levels of microbiological contamination detected in the drinking water supply.
Garibaldi Coast issued a BWN to Nectar Yoga (Bowen Island) reason not stated.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Inglis PWS, and to a portion of RM Thompson PWS. Advisory causes were not stated and both are categorized as short term.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, two preventive BWAs were issued in the Montréal region, one in Lachine and the other in CDN-NDG. In Laval, two localized BWAs were issued, reasons not stated.
A preventive BWA was issued to one street in Lévis due to an aqueduct break. A localized BWA was issued in Baie-Comeau due to an aqueduct break. A Provincial Government-issued BWA
is in effect for the Longue-Rive municipal water system, reason not stated. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Varennes and East Angus.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, BWAs remain in effect in the following Provincial Parks: Biscotasi Lake, Fushimi Lake, Ivanhoe Lake, Kawartha Highlands, MacLeod, Misery Bay, Missinaibi, Neys, Pakwash,
Rene Brunelle, The Shoals, White Lake. A previously issued BWA was rescinded in Elliot Lake.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saksatchewan, a PDWA was issued to an isolated region of Whitewood due to a water break. A First Nation BWA was rescinded for Sweetgrass First Nation.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a BWA was issued to Cowie Well (Queens County) reason not stated.
