There were 14 new advisories issued since yesterday: 7 in QC, 1 in MB, 6 in SK.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saksatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Aberdeen due to planned maintenance, a portion of Biggar due to service connection repair causing depressurization, Town of Francis due to a power outage,
Mainprize Regional Park due to equipment failure and water hauling, portion of Rocanville, due to fire hydrant repair. A localized DWA was issued to 3 addresses in the City of Yorkton due to new water
and sewer service installation.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA is in effect for the entire territory served by the Drummondville municipal drinking water system, due to an aqueduct break. In Bromont, water was interrupted
to several addresses due to public works; it has not yet been confirmed whether a preventive BWA will be issued when service is restored. In connection with an aqueduct break that occurred
in September, the Municipality of Saint-Polycarpe is now working on connection services to the system and a preventive BWA is being issued. A BWA was issued to a portion of one street in Laval,
reason not stated. Two preventive BWAs were issued in Lévis, both due to aqueduct breaks. A preventive BWA was issued to several addresses in Rouyn-Noranda, reason not stated. In the
Montréal area, the previously issued BWA to the Rosemont Ecocentre has now been lifted as well as the BWA in Lachine.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, related to the November flood events: the BWA in Merritt has been rescinded. As reported by the City of Abbottsford, "the disinfectant in the Sumas Prairie drinking
water system will temporarily switch from chloramine to chlorine. This is an important step in restoring the Sumas Prairie water system." The Do Not Use Advisory remains in effect for Sumas Prairie.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, in Iqaluit, water was interrupted to a number of addresses in Lower Iqaluit due to repairs to the water infrastructure. The advisory does not actually affect any residents more than
they have already been affected as the DNC Advisory, issued in November is still in effect.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to a portion of RM Gimli, PWS; the advisory cause was not stated and it is categorized as short term. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in RM Thompson and Flin Flon.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a First Nation Long Term BWA was lifted for Wabseemoong Independent Nations. The advisory had been in effect since August 2018. A BWA was lifted in the Town of Moosonee.
