There were 15 new advisories issued since yesterday: 2 in ON, 6 in QC, 3 in SK, 4 in MB.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, public system BWAs were issued to Ashern and to a portion of Melita (Southwest Regional Water Co-op). Semi-public water system BWAs were issued to Ashern Auction Mart and to
North Country Meats and Sausage (Inwood); advisory causes were not stated while all four were categorized as short term.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA was issued to a portion of Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval due to an aqueduct break. In Nicolet, one sector is under a BWA due to aqueduct work. A BWA is in effect for the
Calumet sector of Grenville-su-la-Rouge, reason not stated. A Preventive BWA was issued to a portion of one street in Oka due to an aqueduct break. A BWA is in effect for several streets in Mercier,
reason not stated. A BWA was issued to one address in Saint-Jérôme due to water interruption.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, the latest update on the Town of Princeton is that it is still unknown when the water will be safe to drink. It is now one month since the disastrous floods that compromised
the water system, yet most of the town remains under a DNC Advisory.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a BWA was issued by Chippewas of The Thames First Nation, applying to all residents as well as those of the Munsee-Delaware Nation. In Elliot Lake, a BWA was issued to a portion of one
avenue as a precautionary measure due to area construction or repair. First Nation BWAs were rescinded for Aroland and Slate Falls.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a previously issued First Nation BWA was rescinded for Sipekne'Katik-Indian Brook PWS.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a previously issued First Nation BWA was rescinded for Elsipogtog PWS.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, in Swift Current, a PDWA was issued to water distribution systems Trail and Northwest Zones due to an uncontrolled water main break . A PDWA was issued by Cypress RHA to Klassen
Country Cut Meats due to the presence of total coliforms. The City of Prince Albert issued a localized DWA due to a watermain break.
