There were 13 new advisories issued since Friday : 1 in AB, 2 in BC, 4 in SK, 3 in QC, 1 in NU, 2 in MB.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Northern Health issued a BWN to JD Little Forest Centre; the cause has not yet been determined however the lines may have not been flushed long enough before taking the sample.
Also, the well and distribution lines have not been shocked or disinfected in over 10 years. Vancouver Island Health issued A BWN to Musgrave Ocean Estates 2 due to water treatment equipment failure.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a BWA was issued to Bow Island due to a water main break at the water treatment plant main line .
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a precautionary BWA was issued in the Plateau area of Iqaluit due to water interruption for infrastructure work.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Bowsman PWS and Holland PWS; advisory causes were not stated and both are categorized as short term.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Lancer due to line break or pressure loss, and to a portion of Rocanville due to line break or pressure loss. Two First Nation BWAs were issued to Cumberland
House, one to No 20 Pemmican Portage PWS, and the other to No 20 Reserve Ctre PWS.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, two preventive BWAs were issued, each applying to one street due to aqueduct breaks. A preventive BWA was issued in the Rivière-des-Prairies Pointe-aux-Trembles borough of
Montréal. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Saint-Lazare, Saint-Lambert, Oka and Montmagny. Two previously issued First Nation BWAs were rescinded, one for Algonquine- Kitcisakik and the
other for Algonquine-Long Point.
