There were 19 new advisories issued since Friday : 8 in SK, 4 in BC, 4 in QC, 1 in NU, 2 in NS.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Regional District North Okanagan issued a WQA to some customers served by Greater Vernon Water Service due to planned repairs. Fraser Health issued a BWN to Maple Ridge
Firehall no. 2 due to unacceptable levels of microbiological contamination detected in the drinking water supply. Northern Health issued a BWN to Roach WS (Kitiwanga) due to the presence of total coliforms.
A BWN will be in effect Apr 19-27 for the entire Sun Valley WS due to the water distribution system being flushed.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a DWA was issued by the City of Yorkton to one avenue due to a watermain break. PDWAs were issued to a portion of the Village of Waldeck due to line break or pressure loss,
Village of Richmound due to damaged well components, portion of the Town of Moosomin due to watermain repair, Town of Dundurn due to compromised treated water supply, and to Dundern Rural Water
Utility Phase 3 Line due to a water main break. A PDWA was issued to Allan South Rural due to a water break and depressurization, and to a portion of Waldheim due to planned maintenance.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a Boil Order was issued to Port Hastings Public Water System due to a major water main break causing a massive loss of water from the storage tower. A BWA was issued to Sunken
Lake Camp (Kings County) reason not stated. A previously issued BWA was rescinded for Dufferin Variety and Pizza.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a precautionary BWA was issued to a portion of Iqaluit due to water shut down for necessary water infrastructure work. The advisory does not apply to those who are on trucked water.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA was issued to several addresses on one street in Laval, reason not stated. A preventive BWA was issued to one sector in Saint-Jérôme, reason not stated.
Two Do-Not-Consume Advisories were issued by the Provincial Government, one to St-Ambroise-de-Kildare chalet des loisirs, and the other, to Saint-Eustache sous le charme des érables. Advisory
causes were not stated. Previously issued BWAs were rescinded in Magog, Rouyn-Noranda, Lévis, Sainte-Madeleine, Saint-Lazare, Lorraine, Nicolet, Saint-Constant, Cowansville. A previously
issued BWA in Saint-Pierre-les-Becquets was partially lifted, with one street remaining under advisory.
