There were 20 new advisories issued since yesterday : 3 in BC, 1 in NU, 1 in SK, 1 in AB, 8 in QC, 1 in ON, 4 in NL, 1 in MB.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Indian Bay Brook due to E. Coli having been detected in an initial sample and is considered extensive; the water system has other known problems.
A BWA was issued to Deadmans Bay due to Total Coliforms having been detected and repeat samples can not be taken as required. BWAs were also issued to St Albans-Well Field due to maintenance or repair,
and to Salvage-Wild Cove Pond due to maintenance or repair.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued to the entire Lachute territory due to a major aqueduct break. A preventive BWA was issued in the Pointe-du-Lac sector of Trois-Rivières due
to a network leak. In Saint-Lazare a BWA was issued to a portion of one sector due to a major aqueduct break. Four localized BWAs were issued in Lévis, three of which will be in effect tomorrow
while the fourth is already active; two were issued due to street valve breaks, one was issued due to a watermain break while the fourth is due to fire pole replacement. A preventive BWA was issued in
the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough of Montréal.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Interior Health issued a BWN to Ridgewood Improvement District due to excessive turbidity. IH issued WQAs, both due to excess turbidity, for South Slocan Water
and Longbeach Water Users.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a township wide precautionary BWA was issued in Terrace Bay, reason not stated.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a precautionary BWA was issued to several addresses in Iqaluit due to water interruption for infrastructure work.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, Alberta Health Services issued a BWA to Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement due to an issue with the water system .
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, in Regina, a precautionary BWA was issued as the City is conducting repairs on the water supply system and soil or other contaminants could enter the system.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to Boissevain PWS, reason not stated, short term.
