ADVISORY WRAP-UP
Go to provincial maps for more details on advisories
2023/4/25 12pm
There were 13 new advisories issued since yesterday : 3 in ON, 2 in BC, 2 in QC, 5 in SK, 1 in MB.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, The Iqaluit Water Treatment Plant is returning to service today and all trucked and piped water customers are under a precautionary BWA. The advisory could last as long as a week as a
high volume of water testing will be conducted. Customers have been advised that there will be a period of adjustment to the new system after which both water clarity and taste should be vastly improved.
Residents may notice the water has a higher chlorine taste which is normal as the levels will need to be adjusted in accordance with the water treatment process. Hopefully the number of DWAs will now
decrease so residents can feel more secure about the quality of their drinking water.
