There were 16 new advisories issued since yesterday : 5 in SK, 3 in QC, 2 in BC, 1 in MB, 3 in NL, 2 in NS.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a First Nation Long Term BWA Advisory was lifted for Wawakapewin First Nation Public Water System. The BWA became long term back in March 2005 which means the original advisory
was issued in March 2004. According to Indigenous Service Canada, "The advisory was lifted following the drilling of two new wells and the installation of a modular water treatment plant to
serve the community." After a wait of 18 years, the residents must be elated to finally have safe drinking water. A previously issued BWA in White Lake Provincial Park was updated to include
the information that the Campground trailer fill station provides potable water and is not part of the BWA which applies to the rest of the park.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, BWAs were issued to Camp Pugwash (Cumberland County) and to Island View Family Restaurant (Lunenburg), reasons not provided.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to a portion of Happy Valley Goose Bay due to water interruption for repairs. BWAs were issued to Pilleys Island-Loadabats Pond and Steady
Brook-Wellfield, both due to maintenance or repairs. A previously issued BWA was lifted for Parkers Cove.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to Cormorant North Public Water System, reason not stated, short term.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the Village of Marcelin due to low reservoir levels causing depressurization, Crooked Lake Provincial Park due to seasonal system startup, portion
of Broadview due to a water break, portion of Limerick due to depressurization. The City of Humboldt issued a DWA to one block, reason not stated.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA was issued to one building in the Ville-Marie borough of Montréal, reason not stated. A BWA was issued to several addresses in Val-des-Sources (Asbestos),
reason not stated. A BWA was issued to one street in Lévis due to an aqueduct break.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, the Regional District of Central Kootenay issued a BWN to some residents on the Erickson Water System due to installation of fire hydrant, mainline isolation valve
and standpipe. Northern Health issued a BWN to Kispiox River Lodge due to Total coliforms having been detected in multiple samples. A previously issued BWN was lifted in the Village of New Denver.
