There were 14 new advisories issued since yesterday : 6 in SK, 1 in BC, 4 in QC, 3 in NL.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, BWAs were issued to the same water source, Kellys Pond, Spiders Pond serving two communities, Spaniards Bay and Upper Island Cove, due to the absence of free
chlorine residual detected in the water distribution system. A BWA was issued to Bonavista-Long Pond due to system maintenance or repair.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Lions Park in Carlyle due to seasonal system startup, Hawarden due to a water main break, Lac Pelletier Regional Park due to seasonal system startup,
SWC Waterworks North Pipeline-Dalmeny Lateral only due to planned maintenance, effective May 10th. The City of Yorkton issued a DWA to a part of one street due to a water main break. The City of
Prince Albert issued a DWA to two blocks due to water main repairs.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued in the Montréal borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro. A BWA is in effect in certain sectors of Saint-Zotique due to work on the aqueduct.
A preventive BWA was issued to several addresses in Dolbeau-Mistassini due to public works. A localized BWA was issued in Cowansville, reason not stated.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Interior Health issued a BWN to East Shore Health Centre (Kootenay) due to water treatment equipment failure.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a previously issued BWA was rescinded in Three Hills.
