There were 22 new advisories issued since yesterday : 9 in SK, 5 in ON, 3 in AB, 2 in QC, 2 in MB, 1 in NL.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs due to seasonal system startup were issued to Clearwater Regional Park, Minowukaw Campground, effective May 18, Sandy Bay Campground, effective May 18. PDWAs were also issued to
a portion of Bengough due to line break or pressure loss, portion of Drake due to treatment or distribution system equipment failure or damage, Flaxcombe due to a planned power outage, portion of Gronlid due
to water break and depressurization, Hitchcock Bay due to power outage, Hawarden due to contamination during construction, repair or operations.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, system startup drinking water advisories were issued to the following parks; in all cases a DNC has been issued for water consumption while BWAs have been issued for other usages such as
cooking and cleaning: Aspen Beach Provincial Park -Brewers Campground, Lakeview Campground, Eberling Day Use; Crimson Lake Provincial Park-Crimson Lake Campground and Day Use, Twin Lake Campground and Day Use;
Pigeon Lake Campground and Day Use.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, 4 advisories were issued in Algonquin Provincial Park, 1 DNC (Rock Lake/Raccoon Lake), and 3 BWAs (Canisbay, Tea Lake, Whitefish). There were already 3 advisories in effect so now there
are a total of 7 active advisories. Porcupine District Health issued a BWA to Inn the North (Hearst), reason not stated.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a previously issued WQA to the Sage Mesa Water System Upper Zone has been upgraded to a BWN due to increasing turbidity.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Treherne PWS and Brereton Lake South Shore SPWS; both advisories are categorized as short term while causes were not stated.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued to one street in Lévis due to an aqueduct break, effective May 13. A BWA was issued to a limited part of one street in Saint-Jérôme, reason
not stated.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to a portion of St Georges Well Field due to maintenance or repair.
