There were 15 new advisories issued since yesterday : 3 in NL, 4 in BC, 5 in QC, 1 in MB, 1 in SK, 1 in ON.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, A BWA was issued to Rose Blanche Brook due to detection of E. Coli in an initial sample considered to be extensive; this system has other known problems. BWAs were also issued
to Stephenville-Well Field due to maintenance or repair, and to Mainland-Caribou Brook due to the disinfection system being off due to lack of chlorine or other disinfectant.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia Interior Health issued BWNs due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological) to Lookout Road Water Users and to Hedley Improvement District. IH issued a WQA to Eagle Rock
MHP due to unacceptable water quality results. Northern Health issued a BWN to 4 Mile Store and Coffee Shop. The most recent water sample was the 3rd consecutive with unsatisfactory results. The well is shallow
dug and the treatment in place is a water softener, 30 micron filter, and uv device. Investigation is ongoing to determine if adequate.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Sainte-Marthe a preventive BWA was issued due to technical issues at the filtration plant causing water levels to drop. In Sainte-Adèle a preventive BWA was issued in the Bourg-Joli
sector due to water interruption, to be in effect July 17. In Lévis a preventive BWA was issued to three streets due to an aqueduct break. Provincial Government-issued BWAs are in effect for
Sainte-Sophie-d'Halifax municipal system, and to Camping Mon Plaisir (Plessisville), reasons not stated.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario a BWA was issued to customers in Wellington on the Lake housing development (Prince Edward County) , reason not stated.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a PDWA was issued to Cupar due to treatment or distribution system damage or failure.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a seasonal BWA was issued to Strathcona Memorial Park.
