There were 21 new advisories issued since yesterday: 1 in SK, 3 in NL, 2 in MB, 12 in QC, 1 in AB, 2 in ON.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in La Tuque, a preventive BWA was issued to several locations following water interruption due to a leak. A preventive BWA was issued to a number of addresses in Saint-Eustache,
reason not stated. A BWA was issued to several sectors in Bromont due to a watermain leak. In Saint-Lambert a localized BWA was issued due to public works. A BWA was issued to the Mont-Gabriel and
Entremonts sectors (Sainte-Adèle) due to water interruption. Two preventive BWAs were issued in the Montréal boroughs of Verdun and Southwest. A preventive BWA was issued to a number of streets
in Kirkland, reason not stated. A BWA was issued to a number of streets in La Baie, reason not stated. Provincial Government-issued BWAs are in effect for the Mt-Brun sector in Rouyn-Noranda,
and Bonaventure municipal water system (Gaspe). A Government-issued DNC is in effect for Camping Sol Air (Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare), reason not stated.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, Ontario Parks issued a DNC in Bronte Creek Provincial Park, and a BWA in Rainbow Falls Provincial Park. Previously issued BWAs are still in effect in the following parks: Blue Lake,
Algonquin, Missinaibi, Kawartha Highlands, Rene Brunelle, Misery Bay, Shoals, Pakwash, White Lake, MacLeod, Fushimi Lake, Biscotasi Lake.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to one street in Corner Brook due to wastewater collection system repairs. In Cupids, a BWA was issued to Brigus Long Pond due to a watermain break.
A BWA was issued to Mainland-Caribou Brook due to E. Coli having been detected in initial samples that are considered extensive, and the water system has other known problems.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to RM Stanley PWS, and to Woodlands Mobile Home Court SPWS; advisory causes were not stated and both are categorized as short term.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a PDWA will be in effect in Macoun on July 25 for planned maintenance. First Nation Long Term DWAs have been rescinded for Ministikwan Lake Cree where a water treatment plant is
now in operation, and for Zagime Anishinabek where a temporary treatment system was installed to remove excessive manganese from the water; long-term upgrades to the existing system are still in the planning stage.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a BWA was issued by Alberta Health Services to East Prairie Metis Settlement due to issues with the water system.
