There were 31 new advisories issued since Friday: 2 in BC, 10 in SK, 5 in QC, 2 in MB, 4 in ON, 2 in NL, 2 in AB, 4 in NB.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a BWA was issued in Morrisburg due to loss of pressure in the system. A Boil Order was issued by HKPR District Health for the Wilberforce Water System, reason not stated.
Eastern Ontario Health issued BWAs to A Taste of Health (Moose Creek) and Cornwall Motor Speedway.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, 4 First Nation Do Not Consume Advisories were issued by Indigenous Services Canada for Elsipogtog-Egtjipogteomino Care Centre, one to each of the following: Main Lodge,
Arena, Cottage 6, Cottage 7. The advisories cause was not stated.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Pointe-Claire, a water interruption is scheduled for tomorrow (Aug 18th) due to private connection work affecting a number of addresses in the Lakeshore Rd area. When water
service is restored a preventive BWA will be in effect. In Lévis, a previously issued BWA affecting a portion of one street due to an aqueduct break has been extended. In Sainte-Catherine,
water interruption followed by a BWA was issued to a number of addresses due to emergency work on the aqueduct. A BWA was issued in the Montréal borough of Rosemont-La Petite Patrie. A Provincial
Government-issued BWA is in effect for Normétal Municipal System, reason not stated.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Clearwater Lake Regional Park due to a well failure, portion of Craik due to depressurization, Duck Lake due to depressurization, Leroy due to water
valve replacement, Loon Lake due to a water break, a portion of Rosetown due to a water break, St Walburg due to water treatment plant upgrades, portion of Strasbourg due to planned maintenance.
Advance notice of a PDWA was issued in Killaly: the advisory will be in effect Aug 21 for planned maintenance. A First Nation BWA was issued to Thunderchild-Turtle Lake PWS.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a BWA was issued to a portion of Okotoks due to compromised water levels in two reservoirs resulting from a leak. A First Nation BWA was issued to Stoney Tribe-Stoney Trading Post
Public Water System; the advisory is categorized as short term.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a WQA was issued to the City of Fernie due to elevated turbidity. A BWN was issued by Regional District Central Kootenay to the Duhamel WS due to adverse water sampling
test results indicating the presence of total coliforms and E. Coli.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Birds Hill North Public Water System, and Oakwood Place Semi-Public System; both are categorized as short term. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in MacGregor,
Flin Flon, Manigotagan, Camperville.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to the old Southside Well in Harbour Grace due to the absence of free chlorine residual detected in the water distribution system. A First Nation
BWA was issued to Mushuau Innu-Natuashish Healing Lodge.
