There were 28 new advisories issued since yesterday: 12 in BC, 4 in MB, 3 in SK, 5 in QC, 1 in NL, 2 in ON, 1 in AB.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, First Nation Health Authority (FNHA) issued a series of drinking water advisories to the Lytton First Nation. These advisories were issued in early July, however
they did not appear on the FNHA website until August. These advisories came on the heels of the devastating wildfires that all but destroyed the Town of Lytton. There are currently 5 BWAs,
1 DNC, and 1 WQA in effect for Lytton First Nation. In addition, FNHA issued 2 DNCs for Lheidli T'enneh First Nation, one for North Shelly CWS and the other for South Shelly CWS.
FNHA also issued a BWA to Esdilagh First Nation Alexandria West CWS.
Northern Health Authority issued a BWN to Andy Bailey Regional Park due to the lack of active filtration systems. A municipal BWN was issued to Cherry Creek Waterworks, reason not stated.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Gatineau, a Regulatory BWA was issued to a portion of the Hull sector. A preventive BWA was issued in Trois-Rivières due to watermain replacement. A localized
BWA was issued in Laval, reason not stated. Provincial Government-issued BWAs are in effect in Harrington (Assoc Lake McDonald, Pump 2) and Ruisseau des Aulnes - Bois Blanc (Saint-Justin);
causes not provided. A 3-year old BWA has been rescinded in the municipality of Saint-Bernard.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to St. Malo Public Water System, reason not stated; the advisory is categorized as short term. Semi-public system BWAs were issued to the Harmony Colony,
Foodie Panda, and Eriksdale Shop Easy; all three are short term.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a Boil Order was issued by HKPR District Health for Southview Estates Drinking Water due to an adverse water quality sample. In Elliot Lake, some residents are under a BWA
due to a localized watermain break and subsequent repair; those affected have been contacted directly.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the Town of Hudson Bay, due to system improvements, portion of Broadview due to water valve repair, Yellowgrass due to distribution pump failure.
One of three previously issued PDWAs was lifted in Kerrobert.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a BWA was issued by Alberta Health Services for the Village of Foremost, reason not stated.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Ferryland-Deep Cove Pond due to the system undergoing maintenance or repair. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Harbour Grace, Cupids,
Corner Brook.
