There were 25 new advisories issued since Friday: 6 in NS, 2 in BC, 4 in SK, 1 in ON, 5 in QC, 1 in NB, 3 in AB, 2 in NL, 1 in MB.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, BWAs were issued to Tom's Lobster (HRM), St John's United Church (HRM), Burton's Sunset Oasis Motel (Victoria). Two BWAs were issued to Hubbards Beach Campground and Cottages. Previously issued BWAs were rescinded for Campers Haven, Risser Beach, Orangedale Water Society, Enfield Estates, Giant Steps Childrens Centre. A BWA was both issued and lifted this week for Harbour View Cottages (Digby).
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a BWA was issued by Alberta Health Services to Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement, reason not stated.
A BWA was issued to the Hamlet of Smith (MD Lesser Slave River) due to a power outage. A blue-green algae advisory (cyanobacteria) was issued for parts of Buck Lake in Wetaskiwin County.
This is the 2nd algae advisory issued for parts of Buck Lake, the first of which was issued on Aug. 4 by AHS.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Vancouver Island Health issued BWNs to Strata 1343 (Hornby Island) and the Groove Kitchen (Mayne Island), both due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a BWA was issued by Grey Bruce District Health for Georgian Bay Lutheran Cluster (Holland Centre), reason not stated.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Trois-Rivières a preventive BWA was issued in the Cap-de-la-Madeleine sector due to water interruption for installation of a new water main. A BWA was
issued in Notre-Dame-de-Ham due to low water levels. A Provinical Government-issued BWA is in effect for Saint-Adelme municipal water system, reason not stated. Two localized BWAs
were issued in Laval, reasons not stated. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Sainte-Catherine, Saint-Constant, Mirabel-en-haut, and the Montréal borough of Saint-Laurent.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Highway 41 Water Utility due to planned maintenance, portion of Parkview Water Users Waterworks due to a watermain break, portion of
Wynard due to depressurization required for watermain replacement. A PDWA was issued to a portion of Kerrobert due to watermain construction; this is the 3rd PDWA issued in Kerrobert over
the past week or so with the 2 previous still active.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a blue-green algae advisory (cyanobacteria) was issued to Kennebecasis River, Rothesay Yacht Club.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to Isfeld Villa Semi-public Water System (small residential water system), reason not stated. The advisory is categorized as short term.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, BWAs were issued to Bonavista - Long Pond due to maintenance or repair. A partial BWA was issued in Happy Valley Goose Bay as inadequately treated water
was introduced into the system due to fire flows, flushing operations, interconnections, minor power outage, etc.
