There were 22 new advisories issued since yesterday: 2 in BC, 4 in SK, 2 in ON, 4 in QC, 4 in MB, 3 in NS, 2 in AB, 1 in NL.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to Arborg Public Water System; the advisory is categorized as short term. WQAs were issued to Otter Lake PWS and Onanole RV Park PWS; both advisories are
categorized as medium term. A Semi-public water system BWA was issued to The Mixed Grill, reason not stated.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Michel Village due to elevated turbidity, Village of Wilcox due to potential contamination, portion of Burstall due to water valve repairs.
Advance notice of a PDWA was issued to Killaly, effective Sept 4 for planned maintenance.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Montréal, a DNC Advisory was issued to a number of addresses on St-Hélène street yesterday. At this time the advisory has been lifted for all affected
addresses except one (Hôtel Gault). In Sainte-Catherine a preventive BWA was issued to several addresses on one street due to emergency repairs.
In Rouyn-Noranda, a preventive BWA was issued following water interruption, affecting several addresses. In Laval, a BWA was issued to a portion of one street, reason not stated.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN was issued to the Shannon Lake neighbourhood and a portion of the West Kelowna Business Park on the Lakeview-Rose Valley Water System due to a main break.
A previously issued WQA was lifted for the Naramata system. Vancouver Island Health issued a BWN to Sol Sante Clubhouse due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a precautionary BWA is in effect in Moose Creek due to maintenance on the elevated water storage tank as pressure will be inconsistent; the advisory was jointly issued by
OCWA and the Township of North Stormont. A DWA was issued by Public Health Sudbury to the Town of Folyet due to mechanical issues.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a precautionary BWA was issued by Alberta Health Services to Eckville due to an issue with the water system. AHS issued a blue-green algae advisory (cyanobacteria) for
Skeleton Lake in Athabasca County.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, BWAs were issued to Pictou County Condo Corp no. 3, Oakhill Pines Campground and Riverside Elementary School; advisory causes were not stated.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Little Bay-Mine Pond due to maintenance or repair. A previously issued BWA was lifted in Corner Brook.
