There were 13 new advisories issued since Friday: 1 in BC, 6 in SK, 1 in ON, 4 in QC, 1 in NL.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Blaine Lake due to treatment or distribution system equipment failure or damage, portion of Macklin due to water line repairs, Village
of Meacham due to depressurization, Medstead due to water reservoir cleaning, Village of Prudhomme due to system depressurization, portion of St Benedict due to water line repairs. The City of
Prince Albert lifted 4 previously issued localized DWAs.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, in August, lakes/waterways in the following counties were issued blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) advisories: HRM (Shubenacadie Canal, Fletcher Lake, Lake Thomas,
Lake Charles, Lake MicMac, Loon Lake, Bell Lake, Cunard Pond); Lunenburg (Fox Point Lake ); Annapolis (Zwickers Lake); Digby (Porters Lake); Kings (Lumsden Pond); Inverness (Lake Ainslie).
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued to several addresses in Rouyn-Noranda due to aqueduct work. In Trois-Rivières, a preventive BWA was issued to a number of addresses due to
water interruption for valve installation. A BWA was issued to the Saint-Nicolas sector of Lévis due to problems with the aqueduct system. A BWA was issued to several addresses in Laval,
reason not stated. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Sainte-Adèle, Henryville, Rouyn-Noranda, Mirabel.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, HKPR District Health issued a Boil Order to Sanddown Mobile Park (Cobourg), reason not stated. A previously issued BWA was lifted in Matheson. HKPR lifted a previously issued BWA
for Lonesome Pine Trailer Park.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by Interior Health for Terra Vista Water Society due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological). A previously issued BWN was lifted by Regional
District Central Kootenay for the Fauquier Water System.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a previously issued BWA was lifted by Alberta Health Services for Paddle Prairie Metis Settlement. Two previously issued First Nation BWAs were rescinded for Beaver-Child Lake.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a previously issued BWA was rescinded in Iqaluit.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to a portion of Stephenville due to maintenance or repairs. A previously issued BWA was lifted in Corner Brook.
