There were 23 new advisories issued since yesterday: 5 in BC, 6 in SK, 6 in QC, 3 in NL, 2 in NS, 1 in ON.

British Columbia Advisory Map

In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by the Regional District Okanagan-Similkameen to the entire Sun Valley Water System due to a power outage causing the system to lose pressure. A BWN was issued by Vancouver Island Health to Newton Cove Resort due to unacceptable water quality results, microbiological. Northern Health issued BWNs to OSBL West due to unsatisfactory bacteriological water results, and Fort Telkwa RV Park also due to unsatisfactory water sample results. Interior Health issued a WQA to Bromley Water Users due to unacceptable water quality results, microbiological.


Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map

In Newfoundland and Labrador, BWAs due to water entering systems and after a minimum 20 minute contact time lacking a minimum free chlorine residual, were issued to the following: Kings Point-Bulley Pond, Rattling Brook-Marks Pond Brook, Humber Arm South-Gurges Pond. A previously issued BWA was lifted for Roberts Arm-Youngs Pond.


Saskatchewan Advisory Map

In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Wiseton due to hydrant replacement, a portion of Whitewood due to water valve repair, portion of Sylvania due to a water break, portion of one street in Canora due to system depressurization, Town of Radisson due to reservoir piping changes effective Sept 14, and 2 blocks in Kerrobert due to hyrant replacement.


Québec Advisory Map

In Québec, BWAs were issued to 2 blocks in Macamic due to an aqueduct break, and to the municipality of Sacré-Coeur due to an aqueduct break. In Lévis, 2 localized BWAs were issued , one for aqueduct system connection work, and the other for hydrant replacement. Provincial Government-issued BWAs are in effect for Association coop. d'Aqueduc de Ste-Angélique (Saint-Basil), and Camping de l'Estrie (Waterloo), reasons not stated. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Trois-Rivières, Rouyn-Noranda and the Montréal borough of Saint-Laurent.


Nova Scotia Advisory Map

In Nova Scotia, BWAs were issued to Grand Pre Wines (Kings County), and Cape View Motel (Digby), reasons not stated. A previously issued BWA was lifted for Wedgeport Tuna Fishing.


Ontario Advisory Map

In Ontario, a BWA was issued to Halfway Lake Provincial Park. Previously issued BWAs are still in effect for the following parks: Algonquin, Biscotasi Lake, Fushimi Lake, Ivanhoe Lake, Kawartha Highlands, MacLeod, Misery Bay, Missinaibi, Pakwash, Rene Brunelle, The Shoals, White Lake.
