There were 20 new advisories issued since yesterday: 5 in BC, 8 in QC, 2 in ON, 2 in MB, 1 in NL, 1 in SK, 1 in NS.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Northern Health issued a BWN to Lakeview MHP due to a water line leakage causing excessive flow overloading filters and collapsing the pressure tank. The UV and chlorine are still
active but cannot provide adequate treatment. Interior Health issued a BWN to Log Barn 1912 Corp due to unacceptable water quality results. A BWN was issued by Capital Regional District to several streets
on Salt Spring Island due to a water leak. First Nation BWNs were issued to Lytton-IR24 Raven Camp (issued in Aug) and to Nicomen CWS (originally issued in July).
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, 3 preventive localized BWAs were issued yesterday in Saint-Jérôme, reasons not provided. Localized BWAs were issued in Laval and Saint-Eustache, reasons not provided.
Two preventive localized BWAs were issued in Rouyn-Noranda due to water interruption. A Provincial Government-issued BWA is in effect for Val Morin municipal water system, reason not stated. Previously
issued BWAs were lifted in Saint-Léonard and Coaticook.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Port au Port No 5 Ocean View Dr Well due to detection and confirmation of Total Coliforms.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Melita PWS and to Spruce Sands Trailer Park, PWS; both are categorized as short term and reasons were not stated.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a BWA was issued to Perennia Park (Colchester County), reason not stated. Previously issued BWAs were rescinded for Bluewater Mall, Margies Restaurant, Five Island Provincial Park.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a BWA was issued to Wakami Lake Provincial Park. A blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) advisory was issued by Simcoe-Muskoka DHU to Bass Lake in the Township of Muskoka Lakes. A previously
issued BWA was lifted in Kenora.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a previously issued BWA was rescinded in Iqualit.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a PDWA was issued to Edenwold Line 3 due to a water main break.
