DEC 5 - The City has extended its BWN through the holiday season. This decision follows ongoing efforts to address issues with their failing water supply system, including the integration of a new water main and concerns about maintaining water quality during construction. This Advisory has been in effect since November 25th due to generator failure at the Citys remote water supply. The City has relied on this generator for the past 2 months due to a failure in the BC Hydro line that services the water supply’s chlorination station.
