Details:

WQA issued April 9 due to increased turbidity in source water caused by the annual freshet. 

As a precaution, it is recommended that all customers, especially those with weakened immune systems, children and the elderly should BOIL all water for at least one minute.

This Water System does not currently meet all Canadian Standard Drinking Water Guidelines, the System draws water from a surface source and its treatment method solely consists of chlorine disinfection.  Raw (source) water sampling conducted March 2024 detected Lead in exceedance of the MAC.
