WQA issued June 18 Community members asked not to return after a mandatory evacuation order was lifted due to issues with the water supply, recent samples taken June 4 showed high levels of ALUMINUM. Their Water Treatment Plant is out of commission, no water is available. 

Divers found zebra mussels on the intake screens, screens were removed and cleaned. 

Council members met with ISC/Heath Canada & Circuit Rider June 19 to assess and discuss the next steps to rectify the problem with the WTP, an update will follow. 

The community is also dealing with a community-wide power outage as MB Hydro replaces power structures that were damaged beyond repair during the wildfires.
