ALAMO MOTEL & RV WS – 

BWN issued November 30 due to recent sampling history that shows recurring overgrown of background colonies. 

The water is supplied from a shallow well, which is subject to microbiological contamination. The last inspection dated May 2024 revealed that the Treatment System does not meet the Drinking Water Treatment Objectives (Microbiological) for Ground Water Supplies; Chlorination is done manually once every week. 

In-order to rescind the Boil Water Notice, Northern Health has instructed the Operator to hire a treatment specialist to assess the Water System and propose an effective Treatment System that meets the BC Drinking Water Treatment Objectives.
