May 21,2026 DNC remains in effect for this building. 

The advisory has been in effect since March following the detection of LEAD in the water supply.

On May 1, the DNC was lifted on the buildings cold-water supply, however LEAD can still be detected in the hot-water supply. LEAD concentration was measured at 20 per cent above Canada Guidelines.

The source of the LEAD contamination has been attributed to the installation of new water tanks, LEAD was not detected in the buildings water supply prior to the installation. 

Affected tenants include Tumikuluit Saipaaqivik Daycare and residential apartments.
