8/7 Drowned crops are drying out at a federal research farm in Brandon, Man., after floodwaters covered the fields in July. The flooding interrupted both short- and long-term research intended to help develop crops with better extreme weather resilience.

7/15 Water levels are stabilizing but the city has extended the state of emrgency for 30 days.
7/5 BRANDON Local State of Emergency in response to the anticipated flood conditions, resulting from significant rainfall throughout the Assiniboine and Shellmouth River basins and continued increases in forecasted river levels.
