Details:
A powerful storm on Saturday closed roads, flooded neighbourhoods, shut down outdoor events and downed trees, according to a statement issued by the city on Monday.
At the peak of the downpour, around 37,700 Epcor customers went without power most outages were in the west end and in neighbourhoods just north of the downtown core.
Elk Island National Park East of the city was also closed on Monday due to flooding.
