BEAVER LAKE (Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park) – BGA As of May 15, 2026 the advisory remains in place. This advisory has been in place since October 16, 2023. Capital Regional District continue to monitor water quality in the lake system.
ELK LAKE (Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park) – BGA As of May 15, 2026 Capital Regional District (CRD) lifted its Blue-Green Algae advisory for Hamsterly Beach. However, an advisory remains in place for Eagles Beach. A BGA advisory has continually been in place for Elk Lake since October 24, 2024.
KAMLOOPS Municipal Water System – May 18 The City has successfully completed repairs to the critical water main serving the east end. Water use has been restored to all affected areas. Alerts have been rescinded for all areas except Barnhartvale, which remains under a Do Not Consume (DNC) advisory.
