BLIND BAY (MacArthur Reedman Water System) – May 28 The Service Area (located in Electoral Area G) is now on Stage 2 Restrictions; based on a two-week average usage, this System has reached 75% capacity.
CSRD reminds residents that Increased water usage will; result in further restrictions, and risk available water supplies needed in the event of a fire.

CASTLEGAR (Tower Ridge Development WS) – BWN issued May 19 due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).

CACHE CREEK (Historic Hat Creek Ranch) – BWN issued May 25 due to Inadequate operations and maintenance.

EAGLE BAY (Shimmering Waters Holdings) – BWN issued May 22 due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).

EDGEWATER Water System – WQA issued May 29 due to elevated turbidity levels resulting from spring freshet (runoff).

FERNIE Municipal Water System – BWN issued May 30. Following an electrical failure at James White Wells, the City switched to the Fairy Creek water source. The turbidity levels at Fairy Creek are higher than 5 NTU, which is common during spring freshet.

The City of Fernie is working to make repairs as quickly as possible. Interior Health has been notified accordingly.

RADIUM HOT SPRINGS Water System – WQA issued May 31 due to elevated turbidity.

SPALLUMCHEEN Municipal Water System – WQA issued June 1 due to low chlorine residuals in the water, localized.

VERNON (Greater Vernon Water) – WQA issued May 29 due to water service being temporarily provided by an overland pipe, localized.
