AIRDRIE - Severe Shortage: The Town has been under Stage 4 Water Restriction since June 6 due to an extensive watermain break in Calgary, affecting their water supply.

CALGARY – UPDATE June 15 Water restrictions could be in place for three to five more weeks after a scan of the broken water main revealed five more locations inside the pipe that are in need of repair.

CHESTERMERE– Severe Shortage: Stage 4 Water Restriction implemented June 6 following Calgary’s watermain break.

GREGOIRE LAKE - Cyanobacteria Bloom identified June 14, 2024.

STRATHMORE – Severe Shortage: The Town has been under Stage 4 Water Restriction since June 6 due to the watermain break in Calgary, affecting their water supply.

WAINWRIGHT – Severe Shortage: June 14 local State of Emergency declared due to water supply issues affecting the Town’s ability to ensure adequate water is available for firefighting and for its residents.

CAMPBELL RIVER (April Green Water Treatment Plant) – DNC issued June 14 due to Water Treatment equipment failure.

CANYON (North Canyon Improvement District) – WQA issued June 12 due to system upgrades.

CRANBROOK (Evergreen Mobile Home Park WS) – BWN issued June 11 due to Excessive turbidity compromising treatment and water quality.

LAC LA HACHE (TEN-EE-AH WILDERNESS RESORT) – BWN issued June 12 due to inadequate operations and maintenance.

LIKELY (Morehead Campground WS) – BWN issued June 7 due to Unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).

LONE BUTTE (Fawn Lake Resort) – WQA issued June 12 due to insufficient treatment or disinfection residual.

OAT HILL LAKE – Cyanobacteria Bloom confirmed June 2024. Benthic bloom type confirmed presence of toxin producing blue-green algae.
