BRITISH COLUMBIA

WEST KELOWNA (Zone 3B) – WQA issued July 15 due to the probability of settled Manganese being stirred up through high flows/velocities resulting from Flushing; This is expected for a water system of this age, which had no water treatment plant for decades.

UPDATE

MOUNT ROBSON PROVINCIAL PARK – The Park has a permanent boil water advisory. 
Underlying Problems are: Unsatisfactory water quality results (microbiological). Overgrowth of coliforms was exhibited in 2019. Some spikes in total coliforms have also been detected in past years. Static water level could not be accurately determined because the hand pump is the only outlet for the well.

NORTH SALT SPRING Waterworks – BWA was in effect July 10 to 14 for a line repair.

ROCK CREEK Medical Centre – BWA was in effect for 8 years, from May 3, 2017 to July 8, 2025 for unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).

WEST KELOWNA (Zone 3A) – WQA was in effect from June 25 to July 15 for the probability of settled Manganese being stirred up during Flushing.

PRINCE ALBERT Municipal WS – PDWA issued July 11 for localized service works. There are currently 5 localized advisories in effect for the City.

REGINA BEACH Waterworks – PDWA issued July 14 due a localized line break/repair.

SASKATOON Municipal WS – 5 PDWAs in effect July 15 for Valve Replacements (2), Internal Private Leak (1), Flushing (1) and a Water Main Break (1).

SaskWater (Buffalo Pound Potable Water Supply System) – PDWA issued July 14 due to a leak repair. Service will be interrupted followed by a boil water advisory affecting Customers on the East pipeline.

THOMSON LAKE REGIONAL PARK – PDWA issued July 11 due to suspected contamination from a cross connection with backflow.

SUCKER RIVER 156C Water System – BWA issued June 18 due to inadequate disinfection residuals, remain in effect.

CLEARWATER LAKE REGIONAL PARK – PDWA was in effect from June 17 for inadequate disinfection.

CREIGHTON Distribution System – PDWA was in effect from July 4 for a line repair.

ESTERHAZY Distribution System – PDWA was in effect from July 4 for a line repair.

MOOSE JAW Municipal WS – 3 PDWAs were in effect from July 4 for construction and July 8 for depressurization. There are currently 11 localized advisories in effect for the City.

SHAMROCK REGIONAL PARK – PDWA was in effect from June 26 for total coliforms.

STRASBOURG Distribution System – PDWA was in effect from July 2 for a line repair.

WARMAN Distribution System – 2 PDWAs were in effect from July 7 for a hydrant repair and July 9 for a valve repair/replacement.

WASKESIU LAKE Resort Water System – PDWA was in effect July 7 to 10 for line repairs.
