There were 13 new advisories issued since yesterday: 3 in SK, 6 in QC, 2 in MB, 1 in BC, 1 in ON.

Québec Advisory Map

In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued in the Montréal borough of Verdun. Two localized BWAs were issued in Laval, reasons not provided. A preventive BWA was issued to a portion of one street in Saint-Eustache, reason not provided. A preventive BWA was issued to one street in Lévis due to an aqueduct break. A Provincial Government-issued BWA is in effect for the Papineauville municipal water system, reason not stated. Previously issued BWAs were rescinded in Saint-Léonard, Rivière Rouge, Rouyn-Noranda, Les Coteaux.


Manitoba Advisory Map

In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Fisher Branch Public Water System and Birtle Public Water System; advisory causes were not provided while both were categorized as short term.


Saskatchewan Advisory Map

In Saskatchewan, a PDWA was issued to the Village of St Gregor due to a power outage. An Emergency Boil Water Order was issued to Weyakwin Waterworks due to E. Coli having been detected in the drinking water system. A PDWA was issued to Green Acres Golf and Country Club due to Total coliforms having been detected in the drinking water with unknown source of contamination.


British Columbia Advisory Map

In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by Interior Health to Bayview Strata Corp due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological). A previously issued WQA was lifted in the District of Kitimat.


Ontario Advisory Map

In Ontario, a BWA was issued to the West Gate in Algonquin Park. A BWA had already been in effect in Algonquin Park for Lake of Two Rivers and Mew Lake Campgrounds, however it is now suspected that a blue-green algae bloom has occurred at Lake of Two Rivers. Users of the area are asked to take precautions. Previously issued BWAs are still in effect in the following provincial parks: Biscotasi Lake, Fushimi Lake, Ivanhoe Lake, Kawartha Highlands, MacLeod, Misery Bay, Missinaibi, Neys, Pakwash, Rene Brunelle, Shoals, White Lake.
