There were 25 new advisories issued since yesterday: 11 in SK, 8 in QC, 2 in BC, 3 in AB, 1 in NB.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA was issued in Ragueneau, reason not stated. A preventive BWA due to water interruption for aqueduct connections was issued in the Municipality of Saint-Jacques.
A BWA was issued to one avenue in Sainte-Adèle due to water interruption. A localized BWA was issued in Baie-Comeau due to an aqueduct break. A BWA was issued to several addresses in
Bécancour due to a watermain break. A BWA was issued to the Calumet sector of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, reason not stated. A portion of one street is under a BWA in Saint-Constant, reason
not stated. In Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson a BWA was issued to the Joli-Bois sector due to installation of a temporary water system. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Laval,
Saint-Adèle, Saguenay, Les Cèdres. A First Nation BWA was issued to Innu-Essipit PWS.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Whitewood due to new water service installation, portion of the Town of QuAppelle due to a water break, portion of Naicam due to line
repair, Village of Maymont due to watermain swabbing, portion of Gull Lake due to planned maintenance, Cut Knife due to line repair (isolated area), Bladworth due to a watermain break, portion
of Macklin due to planned maintenance, a portion of Prince Albert Rural Waterworks due to planned maintenance. First Nation BWAs were issued to Carry The Kettle-Assiniboine NO. 76 PWS, and to
Poundmaker No 114 PWS.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a BWA was issued to several addresses in Sylvan Lake, reason not stated. First Nation BWAs were issued to Cold Lake-LeGoff no. 149 PWS, and to Kehewin PWS.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, 3 previously issued First Nation Short Term BWAs were rescinded. As a result there are no current short term BWAs in the province.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Garibaldi Coast issued a BWN to Backeddy Resort and Marina due to E. Coli levels exceeding Guidelines for Canadian Recreational Water Quality. Vancouver Island Health
issued a BWN to Watutco Enterprises due to excessive turbidity.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a Boil Order was posted today on the Government list of active water advisories for Haut Madawaska St Hilaire district, due to high turbidity. Although the advisory
was posted only today, the issue date was posted as Feb 2nd.
