There were 17 new advisories issued since Friday : 3 in SK, 8 in QC, 1 in NL, 2 in MB, 3 in BC.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a precautionary BWN goes into effect today in New Denver. The Denver Siding water system has been on a long standing boil water notice and the The Village of New
Denver is expanding its water system to connect and supply potable water to Denver Siding. In Osoyoos a BWN was issued to Irrigation System 8 due to the water source being switched from
groundwater (well source) to Osoyoos Lake surface water supply. This advisory is issued each spring but it usually applies to both Systems 8 and 9; so far, only System 8 is under advisory.
The Regional District North Okanagan issued a precautionary WQA to Greater Vernon Water Utility customers due to a large mainline valve replacement. A BWN will be in effect Apr 6-14 for
the entire Sun Valley Water System due to the water distribution system being flushed.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, 3 preventive BWAs were issued in the Montréal area, two in Plateau Mont Royal, and the third in Rivière-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles. Two localized BWAs
were issued in Laval, reasons not stated. Two preventive BWAs were issued in Saint-Jérôme, one due to loss of pressure while the cause of the other was not stated. A preventive BWA
was issued to three streets in Kirkland following water interruption due to an aqueduct break. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Saint-Colomban and Chelsea.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a PDWA was issued to Sunnyside Cottage Owners Assoc due to seasonal startup of the system. PDWAs were also issued to a portion of Battleford due to service connection repair
causing depressurization, and Town of Stoughton for watermain repair effective April 5.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, A BWA was issued to RM Roland PWS and to Sharptail Motor Inn SPWS (food handling service); advisory causes were not stated while both were categorized as short term.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Placentia-Clarkes Pond (in late March), due to the system undergoing maintenance or repair.
