There were 20 new advisories issued since yesterday : 5 in BC, 7 in SK, 2 in NB, 4 in QC, 2 in MB.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a WQA was issued to the Star Place Water System due to elevated turbidity from the spring freshet.
Regional District Central Kootenay issued BWNs to Duhamel WS due to a water break, and to a portion of Erickson WS due to water main repair, effective May 3. RDCK issued WQAs to Fauquier WS due to turbidity
resulting from the spring snow melt, and to South Slocan WS due to elevated turbidity from heavy rainfalls.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario , Boil Orders were issued to Birchwood Estates (Hanwell) and to Crown and Currie Estates (Waasis) due to power outages resulting in pressure loss.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Wakaw due to planned maintenance, Sask Landing NE Quadrant due to startup of waterworks, effective May 5, portion of Regina Beach due to treatment or distribution
system equipment failure or damage, Meeting Lake Regional Park due to seasonal system startup, Gravelbourg due to water line repair, portion of Carrot River due to a water break, Little Loon Regional Park
due to seasonal system startup.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Baie-Saint-Paul a BWA was issued to all users of the municipal water system except those in Cap-aux-Rets, reason not stated. A preventive BWA was issued to several addresses in
Lac-Mégantic due to service interruption. In Montmagny a preventive BWA was issued to a number of addresses due to water stoppage for work on the aqueduct system. A BWA was issued to one street in Chicoutimi
following a water leak.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Flin Flon PWS and to Eclise Dauphin PWS; both are short term, while advisory causes were not stated.
A number of public water system seasonal BWAs were re-issued; the season commences May 1 and ends Oct 31: Ponchos Campsite, Wild Oaks Campground, Metigoshe Campsite, Roseau River RV, Bedrock Family Campground,
St Malo Golf Course, Lake Manitoba Narrows Lodge East and West, Champagne RV Park, Lake Seven Resort, Inwood Golf Course, Trails End Campground, Otter Lake, Onanole RV Park, Blue Water RV Park, Poplar Bay Campground,
