There were 15 new advisories issued since yesterday: 7 in AB, 3 in NL, 2 in QC, 2 in BC, 1 in ON.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, blue-green algae advisories (cyanobacteria blooms) were issued to Half Moon Lake, Buck Lake, Calhoun Bay, Floating Stone Lake, Haunted Lake, Bonnie Lake, Lac Ste Anne.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by the District of Hudsons Hope due to mechanical failure at the new water treatment plant. A BWN was issued by Interior Health to Paul Lake Waterworks
due to unacceptable water quality results, microbiological.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, BWAs were issued due to system maintenance or repair to Parsons Pond-Cold Brook, Portland Creek and Gillams-Meaters Pond.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a precautionary BWA was issued by Ontario Clean Water Agency to the Village of Moose Creek, reason not stated.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA will be in effect July 25 in Baie-Saint-Paul following water stoppage in order to replace a water main. A Provincial Government-issued DNC Advisory is in effect for Ukrainian
Youth Camp (Chertsey), reason not stated. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Saint-Lambert and Lac-Mégantic.
